About me

Dalí & me

My name is Cristina Emilce Baisplelt. I am a Licensed Catalonia Tour Guide and sommelier.

My path began long ago and far away: After completing a degree in marketing, I started wandering around the world while I was working for a multinational company. For 15 years, my life was filled with experiences in different colours and flavours, I met very interesting people related to architecture and design and I visited museums and exhibitions everywhere I could.

My books travelled in relocation boxes and lived in Argentina, Germany and the United States, eventually landing in Barcelona, Spain, city with which I have always been secretly in love. There, I decided to devote myself to my passions: art, culture, and the world of wine.

Along the way, I complemented my training: I did a master’s degree in Tourism Innovation focused on Cultural and Natural Heritage at the CETT-UB. I have also taken courses as a tour guide and heritage interpreter and I completed my Sommelier and WSET II certification. Currently, I continue visiting wineries, museums and exhibitions, everywhere I can. Some things never change. And so good it stays this way.

Besides my activity at ENCULTURARTE, I regularly collaborate with companies and professionals by providing the following services:

  • Guide-Interpreter: Implementation of guided tours and dynamization of activities based on cultural, wine and food tourism.

  • Guide-Coordinator: Accompanying groups and support in corporate events (MICE).

  • Sommelier: Wine tastings, assistance in wine and culinary events and development of wine menues.

Languages: Spanish, Catalan, English and German.

If you are interested in any of these services, please contact me.
